Aerosmith (1971)
Original poster design by Ray Tabano

Aerosmith, often termed as “The Bad Boys from Boston” and “America’s Greatest Rock and Roll Band”, is one of the most important bands in rock history. Formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1970, the band has sold more than 150 million records worldwide.

The Aerosmith “classic winged” logo is undoubtedly one of the most iconic logos in rock history. It was designed by the band’s guitarist Raymond Tabano who only played with the band for a short period of time in 1971. The winged-A design was first seen on the 1974 album ‘Get Your Wings’ and has continued to represent the group to this day.
